gardenART hosts many Special Events throughout the year. Here are quite a few already planned for 2012, with more to come, so check back occasionally. Better yet, sign up for our Newsletter to get the latest information.
Second Friday Art Stroll in Onancock An evening of shopping, art gallery exhibits, dining and meeting friends & neighbors. Every 2nd Friday from 5 - 8 p.m. April - December in Historic Downtown Onancock June 8 - July 13 August 10 - September 14 - October 12 - November 9 - December 14 Play with Flowers at gardenART Most months, in conjunction with 2nd Friday's we will feature creative Floral Stylist Cindy Downing for "Cutting & Conversation" Cindy will demonstrate various styles of arranging and share her experience. You can do it too! Sign up for her workshops, usually held the following day after 2nd Friday, Saturdays from 10-11:30. You must register and there will be a fee. Learn the art of arranging, mingle with friends and take home your creation. Following is the list of Demo's & Workshops Be sure to register, space is limited! June 23rd Saturday Workshop 10a.m. “Going Green”, all greenery arranging $15.00
July 13th - 2nd Friday Demo July 14th Saturday Workshop 10a.m. “Arranging in water, both with and without a tape grid” $15.00
August 10th – 2nd Friday Demo August 11th Saturday Workshop 10a.m. “How to get the most out of a grocery store bouquet” - bring your own bouquet and we provide the vases $15; or $25 if we provide flowers.
Sept 14th - 2nd Friday Demo Sept 15th Sat Workshop 10 a.m. “How to arrange in oasis” $25
October 12th - 2nd Friday Demo October 13th Saturday Workshop 10a.m. “Fall arranging, using leaves & pumpkins” $15
November 9th – 2nd Friday “Challenge Cindy” – bring a bag of materials for Cindy to Arrange November 10th Saturday Workshop 10 a.m. “What’s in the Bag?” You get a bag of materials to arrange! $15
December 2nd Sunday – Workshop at 12pm Bring your own container to make a festive holiday arrangement $15
